Official Contest Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. OVERVIEW. The following contest rules will apply to 'Big Boy Helping You Pay Your Bills Contest' on KPWT also known as "Sponsor" or "Power 106.7". The prizes offered will be announced on Power 106.7 and described in the applicable Official Rules. All On-Air Winners will receive a check in the amount of $50.00 as "Help" to pay your bills. All On-Site Winners will receive a check in the amount of $106.00 as "Help" to pay your bills. All On-Line Winners will receive a check in the amount of $25.00 as "Help" to pay your bills. All checks will be created for the contest winners only and sent to contest winner's addresses only. On behalf of contest winners, KPWT will not create checks for any merchant, dept, loan, or any other third-party, all checks will be created and sent directly to On-Air, On-Site or On-Line Contest Winners. KPWT is not responsible for On-Air, On-Site or On-Line Contest Winners finances. KPWT is not responsible for any late payments, overages, or any other fees On-Air, On-Site or On-Line Contest Winners may receive while waiting for contest winnings, or for any other reason. All winnings will be made available between approximately eight and ten (8-10) weeks after winning contest. The contest will begin on April 7, 2008 and conclude on May 30, 2008.

3. ELIGIBLITY RESTRICTIONS. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the Contest is open to persons who legally reside in the Designated Market area including Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Bandera, Wilson, Medina, Atascosa, Caldwell, Hays, Blanco, Gillespie, Mason, Llano, Lavaca, DeWitt, Val Verde, Edwards, Kinney, Real, Kerr, Maverick, Zavala, Uvalde, Dimmit, Frio, LaSalle, McMullen, Live Oak, Bee, Karnes, Goliad, and Gonzales County in the State of Texas, and are 18 years older at the time of entry, and are legal U.S. residents in possession of a valid government-issued photo identification and a Social Security card. Employees of Power 106.7 (FM), Cox Radio Interactive, participating sponsors, its agents, subsidiaries, or affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, siblings, children, grandchildren and in-laws. Other media companies and their subsidiaries are not eligible. No winner may win same contest more than once and only one (1) winner per household and one (1) winner per immediate family that live in the same household/address for duration of the contest. On-Air, On-Site and On-Line portions of the contest are considered the same regarding participation and eligibility restrictions meaning a contest winner/household/address may only win one of the three ways and not two or all ways for the duration of the contest. For purposes of all Contests, a "household" includes all persons who are domiciled with an entrant, regardless of familial relation. Eligibility decisions will be made by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All decisions of Sponsor are final. Contest participants automatically consent to these house rules.

4. HOW TO ENTER ON-AIR CONTEST. When you hear the cue to call, be the designated caller at 210-470-5588. The designated caller will be asked a series of questions by a KPWT employee to confirm his or her eligibility in conformance with these Official Rules. If the designated caller meets the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules, he or she will be declared an On-Air Winner. By winning the prize, an individual automatically agrees to these rules and conditions of the giveaway. If the designated caller fails to meet any of the eligibility or other requirements of these Official Rules, KPWT will ask the next caller in line the same series of questions, and if that caller meets the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules, he or she will be declared an On-Air Winner. This process will be repeated until a caller satisfies the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules. The determination of a caller's eligibility will be made by Sponsor in its sole discretion. An individual may win only if he/she has participated in a KPWT – Power 106.7 contest in accordance with the established methods of play. Eligibility decisions are made by KPWT – Power 106.7. All decisions are final. Power 106.7 will not be responsible for loss of service to the call-in line or for a contestant's failure to reach the call-in line due to malfunction of any network or system, congestion, overload, busy signals, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call. In the event of interruption of power or telephone service to KPWT during a call-in period of the Contest and prior to accepting the winning caller, the call-in period affected by the interruption may or may not be replayed at the resumption of service, at KPWT's sole discretion. The use of automatic telephone dialing equipment or other software or computer assisted dialing equipment is prohibited and will result in disqualification. No person will be allowed to participate in the Contest on another person's behalf. Each participating contestant must provide his or her own name and personal information to Contest supervisors. If a contestant uses a false name or presents a false identification, he or she will be immediately disqualified from the Contest and will be ineligible to win any prize, and such conduct may result in legal ramifications.

5. HOW TO ENTER ON-SITE CONTEST. KPWT will announce on the air and post on-line at www.power1067fm.com the weekday locations for specific On-Site Contest Episodes before it starts. KPWT reserves the right to cancel or change the locations of on-site registration locations due to weather, city restrictions, etc. those changes will be announced on the air and will be replaced with a new location and/or time if KPWT chooses to continue the registration elsewhere. During these specific events join KPWT at the location to sign up for the contest. Fill out the registration form in full. No person will be allowed to participate in the Contest on another person's behalf. Each participating contestant must provide his or her own name and personal information to Contest supervisors. If a contestant uses a false name or presents a false identification, he or she will be immediately disqualified from the Contest and will be ineligible to win any prize, and such conduct may result in legal ramifications. At the conclusion of the event KPWT will randomly draw one registration form from all that were filled out for that specific event only. Contestants do not need to be present to win, KPWT will contact potential winners. KPWT will then attempt to contact the contestant and if successful the designated contestant will be asked a series of questions by a KPWT employee to confirm his or her eligibility in conformance with these Official Rules. If the designated contestant meets the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules, he or she will be declared an On-Site Winner. By winning the prize, an individual automatically agrees to these rules and conditions of the giveaway. If the contestant is unreachable by phone, the phone number is wrong, disconnected or otherwise unable to be used as a way to contact the contestant KPWT will disqualify the contestant and randomly draw another contestant. If the designated contestant fails to meet any of the eligibility or other requirements of these Official Rules, KPWT will randomly draw another name and attempt to contact that contestant. The new contestant will be asked the same series of questions, and if that contestant meets the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules, he or she will be declared an On-Site Winner. This process will be repeated until a contestant satisfies the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules. The determination of a contestant's eligibility will be made by Sponsor in its sole discretion. An individual may win only if he/she has participated in a KPWT – Power 106.7 contest in accordance with the established methods of play. Eligibility decisions are made by KPWT – Power 106.7. All decisions are final.

6. HOW TO ENTER ON-LINE CONTEST. Visit www.Power1067fm.com and sign up for the email newsletter, if you are already signed up for the newsletter you will need to enter the "Big Boy Helping You Pay Your Bills" Contest. Weekdays at approximately 5pm central time a daily winner will be drawn from all those who signed up for the newsletter after 5/4/2008 and those current Power411 newsletter members who have opted into this contest. No person will be allowed to participate in the Contest on another person's behalf. Each participating contestant must provide his or her own name and personal information to Contest supervisors. If a contestant uses a false name or presents a false identification, he or she will be immediately disqualified from the Contest and will be ineligible to win any prize, and such conduct may result in legal ramifications. KPWT will draw weekday winners at approximately 5pm central time daily and will contact potential winners. If KPWT is successful in reaching the designated contestant, KPWT will ask the potential winner a series of questions to confirm his or her eligibility in conformance with these Official Rules. If the designated contestant meets the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules, he or she will be declared an On-Line Winner. By winning the prize, an individual automatically agrees to these rules and conditions of the giveaway. If the contestant is unreachable by phone, the phone number is wrong, disconnected or otherwise unable to be used as a way to contact the contestant KPWT will disqualify the contestant and randomly draw another contestant. Odds of winning an On-Air Contest depend on the number of eligible contestants who call to participate during the Contest call-in periods. Odds of winning an On-Site Contest depend on the number of eligible contestants who participate during the On-Site Contest event. Odds of winning an On-Line Contest depend on the number of eligible contestants who are already members of the email database and also depend on the number of new people who sign up for the email database.

8. PRIZE CLAIM AND ACCEPTANCE PROCEDURES. Prize Winners will receive a check in the mail between approximately eight and ten (8-10) weeks after being declared a winner of the contest. Sponsor's inability to reach a winner may result in the winner's disqualification, forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries. KPWT Power 106.7 is not responsible for cash prizes lost or stolen in the mail. An individual cannot transfer their status to a representative, absolutely no exceptions allowed. There will be no substitutions allowed by winners for prizes. Participation in a contest and prizes awarded are not transferable and non-assignable. Failure to collect the prize constitutes forfeiture of the prize. Another winner will not be selected. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and KPWT reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. KPWT Power 106.7 winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes incurred with the acceptance of cash prizes.

9. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS. Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes each entrant's consent to the use of his or her name, biographical information, voice and/or likeness in any media, including without limitation the Internet, text messaging, for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Any telephone calls placed to the KPWT Contest line may be recorded for use on-air at any time. Any text message sent to the short code 68279 may be announced on-air at any time. Prizes won and not claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of KPWT and sponsors. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of KPWT and the Contest administrators and judges. KPWT reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by KPWT. In the event the Contest is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of KPWT which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, KPWT reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest.

10. DISCLAIMERS. By entering, participants acknowledge and agree that KPWT, Cox Radio, Inc., participating contest sponsors and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance/possession/use and/or misuse of prize(s), travel to and from any prize-related activity, participation in the Contest, printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any malfunctions of the telephone network, Hip Cricket network or any other text service network, computer Internet system, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or for any entries that are not in compliance with these Official Rules.

11. CONSTRUCTION. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained.

12. SPONSOR. The decisions of Sponsor and the Contest administrators and judges regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest. KPWT Power 106.7 reserves the right to all contest conducted by the station and may change, enhance, or discontinue the contest at any time at the sole discretion of the radio station.
